Hawker Boys
Hawker Boys is a social enterprise dedicated to preserving Singapore’s rich hawker heritage while providing ex-offenders with a second chance. Through our in-house hawker training program, we partner with experienced hawkers to equip individuals with the skills needed to run their own food stalls. Alongside this, we produce a reality series documenting their transformation—from reintegration into society to mastering iconic hawker dishes like Hainanese Chicken Rice. By combining authentic flavours, compelling storytelling, and social impact, Hawker Boys is redefining the future of Singapore’s hawker culture—one plate at a time.
OUR MISSION
Through providing ex-offenders with the skills, training, and support needed to build a new future, it also encourages the preservation of Singapore’s rich hawker heritage.
Our stalls and reality series aims to inspire, uplift, and create a community where resilience, hard work, and traditions comes together.
