01 / Introduction Social-Impact F&B

A social-impact F&B venture builder.

Hawker Boys helps mission-driven F&B brands become clearer, stronger and more sustainable through branding, operations, technology and pathway-building.

But the real reason we exist is people. We create structured roles and mentoring for ex-offenders, so reintegration happens through real work, not charity.

Strong food businesses make that possible. We start with practical work, not big promises.

Jaromel Gee founded Hawker Boys to build a more practical model for social-impact F&B.

The company's focus is intentional: acquire and grow local F&B brands while mentoring ex-offenders through real work, responsibility and ownership pathways.

Jaromel leads Hawker Boys across brand acquisition, concept development, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, brand positioning and venture building. His role is to shape the direction of the company, build partner confidence and keep each venture commercially grounded while carrying a clear social mission.

His background spans F&B operations, food technology, brand building and social enterprise development. Before Hawker Boys, he developed and operated food-tech concepts and worked through the hard realities of building food businesses, navigating partners and adjusting models when the ground changed.

That experience shaped the current Hawker Boys direction.

He believes people rebuilding their lives need more than encouragement. They need structure, honest mentoring, meaningful work and a pathway to carry real responsibility.

At Hawker Boys, Jaromel focuses on building brands that can last, mentoring people who are serious about rebuilding and creating ownership pathways that are earned through real work.

Founder Statement
/ In his own words

Hawker Boys exists because social impact needs stronger business foundations.

A weak business cannot carry a serious mission for long. If we want real pathways for people rebuilding their lives, the ventures themselves must be commercially sound, operationally sharp and built with discipline.

That is why Hawker Boys is focused on brand acquisition and ex-offender mentoring.

We build the brand.
We mentor the person.
We own the outcome.

Building the system
around the mission.

Hawker Boys is built by a small team with complementary strengths across structure, operations, mentoring, technology and execution. The company's work is grounded in real F&B ventures, practical systems and close support for people rebuilding their lives.

Stamford Wee, General Manager Core · HB.02

Stamford Wee

General Manager HB · 02

Stamford Wee serves as General Manager at Hawker Boys, supporting the structure, governance and operating discipline behind the company's social-impact F&B work.

His role focuses on helping Hawker Boys remain grounded, accountable and practical as it grows from concept into execution.

Stamford supports internal systems, partner coordination, mentoring structure and the operating environment needed for people rebuilding their lives to work, learn and grow with consistency.

He brings experience across education, operations, community-based work and programme design. At Hawker Boys, this experience is applied toward a sharper direction: supporting F&B ventures that can carry both commercial discipline and social responsibility.

His work helps keep the mission human and the structure steady, especially where ex-offender mentoring, partner coordination and long-term consistency are concerned.

Manzo, Tech and AI Lead Core · HB.03

Manzo

Tech and AI Lead HB · 03

Manzo leads technology and AI development at Hawker Boys, building practical systems that support F&B operations, brand growth and daily execution.

His role focuses on tools that help the team work faster, communicate better and operate with greater consistency.

This includes digital SOPs, AI-assisted workflows, reporting formats, content support, internal tools and practical systems that reduce friction for operators and teams on the ground.

Manzo brings technical depth across AI, full-stack development and network engineering, with a strong instinct for building tools that are useful in real operating environments.

At Hawker Boys, his work supports the company's venture-building model by making operations clearer, more structured and easier to scale.

He also brings lived sensitivity toward neurodivergent communities, including people with ADHD and those on the autism spectrum. This gives him a grounded perspective on how tools, systems and workflows can support people who learn, work and process differently.

03 / What We Support Four support pillars

What we support.

We do not rush to take over brands. We first help good F&B work become clearer, stronger and more sustainable. Deeper stewardship comes later, when trust, fit and readiness are proven.

01

Brand Clarity

Positioning, story, visual direction, partner decks, launch material and content structure.

02

Operations Discipline

Simple SOPs, task systems, service flow, reporting, handover templates and review rhythms.

03

Tech Support

Practical app workflows, AI-assisted documents, reporting tools and internal systems that reduce friction.

04

Pathway-Building

Readiness, attendance, supervision, mentoring check-ins and progression criteria for ex-offenders in the programme.

/ Readiness Gate

We support, strengthen and prepare first. Brand stewardship or acquisition is only considered after brand fit, commercial fit, governance and manpower readiness are proven.

04 / How We Build Understand before ownership

How we build.

The route from support to possible deeper stewardship. We do not start with acquisition. We start with understanding and proof.

01/05

Understand
the Brand

Food, story, current customer, operations, pain points, people and commercial reality.

02/05

Strengthen
the Basics

Positioning, menu story, visuals, SOPs, reporting, content rhythm and partner materials.

03/05

Build Simple
Systems

Templates, task boards, tech workflows, AI-assisted documents and team routines.

04/05

Test Through
a Pilot

Small, measurable work first. We track delivery, response, reliability and operational fit.

05/05

Review
Deeper Fit

Only after proof do we discuss deeper partnership, stewardship or ownership pathways.

/ DisciplineNo acquisition in step one. Understand and support first.
05 / The Pathway Ex-offender mentoring, with structure

The pathway.

Mentoring ex-offenders through real work is why Hawker Boys exists. The pathway starts with readiness, attendance and work discipline. We do not promise ownership quickly. We build toward responsibility through consistency, supervision and trust. We speak about ex-offenders with dignity and responsibility, not pity.

05/05

Progress
When Ready

Greater responsibility only after consistency, trust and operational readiness are shown.

/ Progression GateNo automatic ownership.
/ Risk Managed

Partners need to know how risk is managed. Attendance, punctuality, role fit, emotional regulation and review are tracked at every stage. Progression is earned, never automatic.

06 / Micro-Ownership Future pathway, earned over time
Future pathway, not current guarantee

A future pathway, earned over time.

Ownership should not be rushed. Any pathway toward ownership must be earned through consistency, trust, responsibility and commercial readiness.

There is no automatic progression. Each step depends on the person, the venture and the support structure being ready.

07 / Our Model The whole thing in one line

Build the Brand.
Mentor the Person.
Own the Outcome.

Hawker Boys strengthens F&B brands and, where the ground is ready, creates structured roles for selected people rebuilding their lives.

Micro-ownership is a future pathway, not a starting promise. It depends on consistency, trust, operational readiness and commercial fit.

There is no automatic progression. Each step is earned.

02 The person grows.
03 The responsibility grows.
